Single Stitch Tees

The collector's cut. Single-row hem stitching mostly disappeared from t-shirt production in the mid 90s, so it's one of the quickest ways to date a shirt.

Single stitch refers to the single row of stitching on the sleeve and bottom hems, standard on t-shirts until roughly 1994 when double-needle hems took over. Collectors use it as a quick authenticity check, and it usually means older, heavier cotton. Every shirt in this collection has been checked by hand for hem construction, tags and print method.
