We grew up on surf videos and sun-bleached boardshorts. This shop exists because we kept finding the old gear in thrift stores and could not leave it there.

Everything we sell is true vintage: original 90s and early 2000s surfwear from Billabong, Quiksilver, Rip Curl, Rusty, Roxy, O'Neill, Ocean Pacific, Hot Tuna and T&C, with the occasional older piece when a good one turns up. We don't sell re-issues and we don't sell anything described as "vintage style". If it's on the site, it was actually made back then.

The hunting happens in estates, closing surf shops, deadstock warehouses and private collections. Once a piece comes in, we inspect it, grade it honestly, measure it flat and photograph it in natural light. What you see in the photos is what shows up in your mailbox.

Why vintage?

Partly the quality. A 90s tee has single-stitch hems and cotton that has already survived thirty years, which is a better warranty than most new shirts offer. Partly the graphics, because nobody is printing anything like a 1991 Rusty back print today. And partly the simple fact that a shirt someone already owns is a shirt nobody has to manufacture.
